"Homeless Dudes" - Made with Adobe Illustrator

So I was walking up the street and I saw these two guys drinking on the sidewalk. I thought they were kind of interesting so I asked if I could make draw them. Here are the results.
I started with a gestural drawing, scanned it and put it in Illustrator.
He was actually much pastier than this.
I ended up simplifying this quite a lot. The guys themselves are fairly simple and did not match up with the environment,
The attention should be on the characters anyways. I am even considering getting rid of the trashcans.
